Operation Follow is an initiative inspired by 2 Peter 1:3-11 to provide devotional challenges to middle and high school students to help make them Spiritual GOATs.

Each week, Operation Follow will provide students with a devotional challenge to help them better understand Biblical principles and give them practical steps to be more grounded, committed and passionate followers of Jesus Christ.

Many middle and high school students who have a relationship with the Lord are simply coasting along, not really understanding basic Biblical principles. Even those familiar with Biblical principles don't often know how to practically live out their faith and continue to grow. If that's you, then Operation Follow is for you!

Spiritual GOATs

The concept of becoming a Spiritual GOAT is probably new to you.

Here's what it means.

If you're up for the challenge, start reading our weekly Operation Follow devotional challenge.
Of course you know that GOAT stands for "Greatest of All Time". Applied to your Spiritual life, it means reaching an elite level of:
Wisdom
Knowing how to hear from God, understand His wisdom, and apply Biblical principles that take you beyond just right and wrong.
Self-Awareness
Doing work on your inner self, owning your sin and bad decisions, healing old wounds, and moving toward a Spiritual, mentally, and physically better self.
Inner Peace
Being able to model consistency and order in your daily walk with God, and staying calm and being a voice of reason in the midst of struggle or chaos.
Solid Boundaries
No longer being led astray by peers making bad decisions, staying away from toxic relationships, and maintaining safe distance from destructive online habits and content.
Authenticity
Building relationships with peers who can help hold you accountable in areas of your life where you struggle or fail.
Intentionality
Having the patience to listen and the confidence to making speaking out and sharing your faith a routine part of your day-to-day life and interactions with others.
Relational Ministry
Growing new relationships that position you to introduce those around you to the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ.

About Us

Hi, my name is Ken Edwards, and I founded ICN Resources in 2001 as a non-profit ministry to middle and high school students, along with those who support them.

Over the years, I've ministered through ICN Resources as a camp and private Christian school speaker, Bible study leader, small group leader and teacher. ICN Resources has provided scholarships for students pursuing careers in full-time ministry, and has equipped students with tools and resources to help them grow Spiritually.

In 2009, ICN Resources, Inc. became Student Service Ventures, Inc. to shift focus to service and educational opportunities for students.

During the summer of 2026, a revelation from the Lord began to bring me clarity for the future of Student Service Ventures. And on July 23, 2026, the original vision for ICN Resources was reborn.

ICN Resources posts a devotional challenge called "Operation Follow" every Sunday evening. It is designed especially for middle and high school students to become Spiritual GOATS.

Resource Research

ICN Resources assists students, parents and youth leaders in finding Bible and third-party resources to help promote Spiritual growth and leadership.

Resource Provision

ICN Resources can fund the purchase of resources for students for individual and small group study, discipleship and accountability.
